Kat Von D is a great brand that recently started a vegan collection as well. Her Lock-It collection focuses on the longevity of the product. Her collections are for the full-coverage types, although when lightly applied it can be reduced to a sheer coverage.
Her Tattoo Liner is a cult favorite, giving precision with a felt tip brush, good longevity, no smears, and can perfect that winged liner. My only complaint is that it tends to transfer and leave me with racoon eyes.
Her Unlock-It wipes are good for lazy day makeup removal. It literally can get through waterproof mascara, liner, eyeshadows, foundations, etc. I wish it can be a little more moist.
Her Liquid Lipstick in the coveted shade Lolita is the perfect Kylie Jenner natural pinky nude lip color for most skin tones. It makes my lips look bigger and enhances my lips natural color. The formula is creamier and pigmented although when smeared it can look like you got slapped. It dries matte and stays on for a while for as long as you don't have anything oily. Some of her shades are full proof non-smearing products and there's other lovely shades for the vampy look to the sweet look. This shade was so popular I remember it was always sold out online and in stores!
Her Shade and Light Contour Palette is also popular. It comes with six neutral shades (3 highlighting matte shades and 3 contouring shades). The matte shades are perfect for setting the undereye makeup and highlighting the cheeks for that subtle glow. There's not shimmer and it's matte. The contouring shades are perfect for all skin tones, coming in light taupe shade, brown shade, and dark chocolate brown shade. I received this as a gift from my little sister (thanks buddy!), and it's actually refillable, so you can also refill them at your local Sephora. This is also good too for those who only want one shade instead of the other unnecessary shades. This product versatile for all seasons when I change skin tones in the summer and winter. The staying power tends to fade after a few hours but this is very pigmented! DO. NOT. OVER. CONTOUR. I love that it comes with a guide on how to contour your face as well.
Her Lock-It collection is perfect for when I'm filming or for photo shoots. It's full coverage stuff, it's almost 24 Hour wear, and it doesn't budge. Her Lock-It concealer is a thicker consistency, creamy, and pigmented. It's good for covering my under eye circles and eye bags. It's great for highlighting and brightening areas that you like to have stand out. You can build it up to full coverage and reduce it if you like. Her Lock-It Setting Powder is great for baking, but if you're medium toned or darker do not over do this product because of the light white layer it'll leave on your face. I wish it made the skin feel smoother, but it does the job. I also tend to need to re-powder my face because it's not as silky to the touch (think of it like the texture of flour) and doesn't keep out shine. Her Setting Mist is a great alternative to the Urban Decay All Nighter spray by Skindinavia because it also works for 24 hours, smells of cucumber, and it's refreshing to the face. The stay power is good because I usually get transfer from my mascara and eyeliner but this made them stay put and not move!
I love that this brand is going vegan and it's cruelty-free.
